UTILIZATION OF SLAG POWDER AND RECYCLED CONCRETE WASTES IN REACTIVE POWDER CONCRETE

Using recycled wastes and industrial by-products in construction materials has become mandatory to conserve the natural resources manage waste-disposal environmental problems. This experimental work investigates workability strength properties of reactive powder concrete (RPC), utilizing slag finely ground waste as partial substitutes for cement quartz sand, respectively. The results slump flow, flexural strength, compressive split-tensile were analysed varying contents RPC, i.e., (0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 30) % a constant slag-powder addition 20 %. Furthermore, water absorption hardened specimens 28 d curing was also examined. indicated rise reduced with increase content RPC. due porous inter-particle voids wastes.
